Toyo Tire's goal with this Integrated Report 2025 is to share with all Toyo Tire stakeholders the ideas and measures that shape Toyo Tires as a tire manufacturer. In addition, Toyo Tire will contribute to creating a society of sustainable mobility through the values it offers: “Safety, quietness, and comfort” and “mobility with a lower environmental impact.” In this year's Integrated Report, the collaboration between functional organizations—one of our strengths as a group—has been formulated more clearly and specifically, and we explain how we are working to create value through various business processes and business strategies.

A brief overview of our philosophy, which expresses our purpose, as well as the history and brief profile of the Toyo Tire Group, is provided.

2. Top Message

Deputy Director, President, and CEO Takashi Shimizu looks back on the achievements of the Mid-Term '21 Plan, which ends at the close of fiscal 2025, and expresses his determination to further increase our corporate value as the new mid-term business plan for 2026 and beyond takes shape.

3. Mid-Term Business Plan

This section outlines the progress of plans based on the fundamental policies of the Mid-Term '21 Plan, as well as information on the performance and outlook of the tire business and the automotive parts business.

4. Financial Strategy

This section covers the financial policies and targets of the Mid-Term '21 Plan, as well as progress reports on the targets. Another focus is our approach to WACC*1 and IRR*2 comparison in capital investment decision-making. Our policy and implementation of strategic cash allocation based on our operating cash flow is also described in more detail.

5. Business Model

The Toyo Tire Group's value creation process is presented in a structured format that follows the flow of inputs, business processes, outputs, and results. This year's Integrated Report revises the output and outcome areas, defines the results in concrete KPIs, and provides details on the Group's framework for achieving value creation, strategies for implementing the Mid-Term '21 Plan, and other strengths.

6. Materiality

For each of the three areas of the Toyo Tire Group's material topics (materiality) (value creation, basis for value creation, and risk management to protect value creation), our policy, action promotion system, and achievements are reported here. The section on value creation contains details on products and services that leverage our strengths and outlines business “stories” that link our offerings to the desired outcomes.

7. Trends

The progress of our efforts in the areas of natural capital and human rights is presented here. The natural capital section provides an analysis of the dependencies and impacts of our manufacturing sites and supply chains on natural capital, based on the approach recommended by the TNFD*3. The human rights section provides a more detailed and comprehensive insight into our efforts to prevent forced and child labor and strengthen our supply chain management.

8. Governance

This section presents our basic governance policy, governance structure, and efforts to strengthen the governance system, with expanded content on the company-wide risk management system and the whistleblower system.

9. Data

This section contains financial data, including a summary of securities reports.
